To protect against forest fires, high capacity deluge nozzles were installed under the eaves of the hotel to provide a thermal barrier.

The hotel includes 60,000 sq.ft. of meeting space, including a 16,000 sq.ft. Grand Ballroom and an 8,000 sq.ft. Baron’s Ballroom, and a 16,000 sq.ft. spa. In addition, there is an 8,000 sq.ft. golf clubhouse with a 10,000 sq.ft. basement for golf cart storage.

The 2000 expansion consists of an additional 107, 800 sq. ft., 184 room guest tower, 74,000 sq. ft. of exhibit and ballroom space, and a 124,000 sq. ft., 6 level parking garage.

This 340,000 sq. ft., 404-key hotel has multiple meeting and conference rooms and a 13,500 sq. ft. Main Ballroom, divisible into six separately zoned sections. The facility has 20,000 sq. ft. of retail space to promote the Legacy Town Center Mixed-Use Development. The hotel’s 1,200-ton central plant was designed and located offsite in the parking garage to minimize noise and acoustical vibration within the facility.

Located in the Allegany Mountains of Central Pennsylvania, the Bedford Springs Hotel Resort and Spa is steeped in history, dating back to 1800. Built originally as a fine private residence in 1800, Bedford Springs has enjoyed a colorful history. The complex served as the summer White House for President James Buchanan in the 1850s. The revived project added 115,000 sq.ft. and 117 new guestrooms for a total of 265,000 sq.ft. and 269 rooms. Existing room wings and reception areas were renovated. A new restaurant and full kitchen occupies a former pool house – site of the first indoor Olympic pool in the US. The project features a new spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

This 1,400,000 sq. ft., 1,200-key resort is themed on the Lost Continent of Atlantis. The facility has a 92,000 sq. ft. Casino, an 86,000 sq. ft. Conference Center and multiple restaurants. The multi-purpose conference center includes a 25,000 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom, a 10,000 sq. ft. Pre-function area, and the ability to subdivide into seven separately zoned meeting areas. Full sized underwater Ruins of Atlantis is complete with a variety of aquatic life viewed from large picture windows in various locations of the hotel.
